Talking directly to voters is the single most effective thing we can do to win elections. Studies show that face‑to‑face conversations can increase voter turnout by up to 9 percentage points far more than mailers or digital ads. It’s easy, it’s fun, and anyone can do it. We’ll meet at Democratic Headquarters (2706 20th St) to get trained, receive a list of local houses, and get partnered up with a fellow Democrat. You’ll head out together to talk with neighbors, share information, and help strengthen our community’s voice. Not into door knocking? We also need drivers at the kickoff to help transport volunteers between routes, a crucial role that keeps everything running smoothly. And for those looking to take it a step further, paid canvassing opportunities for Congressman Darren Soto’s campaign will be available at $20/hour (four hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday). Please join us for the upcoming International Coastal Cleanup and after-party celebration on Saturday, September 19th. We will kick off at Seagrape Trail Beach Access (8462 Jimmy Buffett Memorial Hwy, Vero Beach, FL), where the cleanup will commence from 9:00AM-11:00AM. At 11:30, there will be an after party/awards ceremony at Walking Tree Brewery (3209 Dodger Rd, Vero Beach, FL). Don't forget to bring closed-toe shoes, a reusable water bottle, and sun protection.
