Join us as we unite in our patriotism and march in the annual 4th of July Freedom Fest Parade!

The city does not want this parade to be a political event, this is a celebration. 

Come in costumes, bring your flags, noise making machines, and NON-PROTEST (patriotic) signs! Examples include “Celebrating 250”, “We the People”, “United we Stand”,  peace signs, etc. Save your No-Kings signs for demonstrations please. Lets make this the largest blue coalition to ever march in this parade! 

The parade officially starts at 8:30AM

Lineup for us will be between 7:45 and 8:15AM. To get to the lineup area go northbound on US HWY 1, turn right (east bound) on Roseland Rd, turn right (south bound) onto Old Dixie HWY, and line up at the intersection of N Central Ave and Davis Street with the Democrats of Indian River!

There will only be one decorated vehicle in the parade. If you are limited in mobility or cannot walk for an hour, we urge you to bring the necessary aids such as mobility scooters, walkers, and wheelchairs to ensure you can participate! EVERYONE should bring water and sun protection.

This is a nonviolent celebration. Do not bring any weapons and look to de-escalate any tensions that arise.
